 HCM Data Loader Steps : 

Step 1: Creating a File

Step 2: Importing and Loading File

• We can load business objects for most Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) products. These products include

•       Global Human Resources,

•       Global Payroll,

•       Absence Management,

•       Compensation and Benefits,

•       Talent, Learning and Recruiting. etc.

Granting Access to HCM Data Loader:

•       We can perform the following tasks in the Data Exchange work area using the predefined job role Human Capital Management Integration Specialist:

•       Recent File Loads

•       View Business Objects

•       Import and Load Data

•       Delete Stage Table Data

•       The following are the roles which gives limited access to tasks in the Data Exchange work area.

•       HCM Data Load

•       Review HCM Data Loader Business Objects

•       Generate HCM Data Loader Templates

•       Delete HCM Data Loader Stage Data

Step 1: Creating a File

Download the Template - In this Step we download the template from view business object for required business object like(Jobs, Grades, Positions etc..)

 Go to Navigation, Search for My Client Group, and click on Data Exchange

Enter the Data to the downloaded .dat file and compress file to type ZIP -

In this step we enter the data for every mandatory column attribute those  are present in the template and compress that file to ZIP.

Step 2 - Importing and Loading File

Go to Import and Load Data Page to upload file and click on Import file on the page header. 

Click on Choose File and select the file that need to be imported and click on Review Parameters.

Select Import only option in the File Action section and click on Submit.

Once the file imported successfully click on refresh if there is no error the data will be loaded to the Oracle HCM Cloud application tables
